Warranty Claims
1. Which products are covered by warranty and how long is the warranty period?Â
All products purchased from Ridelah.com, in-store, or via the Ridelah 2.0 App are covered for manufacturing defects under the following terms:
- Dainese products:
Covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. - Spark products:
Covered by a 1-month warranty from the date of purchase. - Gore-Tex garments (excluding footwear):
Covered by a 5-year warranty for membrane-related waterproofing defects.
All other defects are covered by the standard 1-year warranty. - Pro-Armor and Pro-Shape components:
Covered by a 3-year warranty for manufacturing defects.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Item purchased at 40% discount or more are not covered under warranty.
- Products without a product label are not eligible.
- Undergarments damaged due to Velcro contact or abrasive surfaces are excluded from warranty coverage.
2. What are manufacturing defects?Â
Manufacturing defects in clothing refer to issues or faults that occur during the production process of garments, which can affect their quality, appearance, and functionality.
Regular wear and tear, damage caused by the wearer, or changes that happen to the garment after purchase are NOT considered manufacturing defects. responsibility.
3. Do I have to register my product to activate warranty?
You are not required to carry out any registration to activate warranty.
Purchases made on our website, Ridelah App or from our store will automatically be covered by the warranty through registration in our Ridelah Loyalty Rewards Program.
4. How do I make a warranty claim?
Step 1: Contact us via WhatsApp at +603 7932 3459 for online or walk-in warranty service.
Step 2: Our Sales Consultants will conduct a basic diagnostic or waterproofness test on the product.
Step 3: If the diagnostic reveals manufacturing defects or waterproofness issues, we will initiate a warranty claim with the Dainese After Sales team.
Step 4: Complete the warranty claim form.
Step 5: The Dainese After Sales team will further assess the product. This process may take 7–21 working days or longer, depending on the product’s condition.
Step 6: If the product is repairable, Ridelah will cover the repair costs and return the repaired item to the customer.
Step 7: If the product is found to have a manufacturing defect or waterproofness issue, a one-to-one replacement of the same model will be provided at no additional cost, regardless of any voucher or promotion used during the original purchase.
- If the same model is discontinued or out of stock, a Credit Note will be issued.
- The Credit Note value will be based on the amount paid after any voucher or discount deduction, not the original retail price.
- Customers who choose a different replacement model may do so using the Credit Note value:
- If the new model is higher in price, the difference must be topped up.
- If the new model is lower in price, no refund or reinstatement of voucher value will be provided. - The Credit Note is valid for 6 months from the date of warranty approval and may be used for future purchases.
- Refunds are not available for warranty claims.
Step 8: You will be notified of the warranty result via phone call. Customers must collect their warranty product within 30 days of notification.
