This 12-day motorcycle tour covers the most scenic route in the world, the 915 KM long Dharamshala ­- Leh mountain terrain. It also covers the pristine Dhauladhar, Pangi Valley, and the three highest motorable passes in the world. This tour is designed in a way that you get properly acclimatized to the high-altitude conditions of the region.

DAY 1: Sept 20 - Arrive in Dharamshala

Dharamshala is a serene town in Himachal Pradesh, known for its Tibetan culture and as the residence of the Dalai Lama. Spend the day acclimatizing, exploring the local markets, and visiting the Namgyal Monastery and Tsuglagkhang Complex.

DAY 2: Sept 21 - Dharamshala to Dalhousie (via Jot Pass)

Begin your journey by riding to Dalhousie, a charming hill station. The route via Jot Pass offers stunning views of the Dhauladhar range. Dalhousie is known for its colonial architecture and scenic beauty.

DAY 3: Sept 22 - Dalhousie to Bairagarh

Head towards Bairagarh, the gateway to Sach Pass. This route takes you through lush forests and picturesque landscapes. Bairagarh is a small, quaint village, ideal for a peaceful evening.

DAY 4: Sept 23 - Bairagarh to Killar (via Sach Pass)

The ride over Sach Pass is one of the most thrilling parts of your journey. The pass, at an elevation of 4,420 meters, offers breathtaking views but can be challenging due to its rugged terrain and narrow roads. Killar, located in the Pangi Valley, is your destination for the day.

DAY 5: Sept 24 - Killar to Kishtwar (Cliffhanger) Road & back

Ride on the infamous Killar-Kishtwar road, also known as the "Cliffhanger" due to its narrow, winding path along steep cliffs. This route is not for the faint-hearted but promises unparalleled adventure. Return to Killar for the night.

DAY 6: Sept 25 - Killar to Jispa

Travel from Killar to Jispa, a small village in the Lahaul region. The route includes crossing the Chenab River and navigating through remote valleys. Jispa, situated along the Bhaga River, is known for its scenic campsites.

DAY 7: Sept 26 - Jispa to Padum (via Shinku La)

Cross Shinku La Pass to enter the Zanskar Valley, reaching Padum. This less-traveled route offers pristine views and a sense of solitude. Padum is the administrative center of Zanskar and a base for exploring nearby monasteries.

DAY 8: Sept 27 - Padum (Rest/Zangla Monastery)

A rest day in Padum allows for acclimatization and exploration. Visit the Zangla Monastery, an ancient site with stunning views and historical significance.

DAY 9: Sept 28 - Padum to Lamayuru (via Singe La & Sir Sir La)

Travel from Padum to Lamayuru, crossing the Singe La and Sir Sir La passes. Lamayuru is famous for its ancient monastery, perched dramatically on a mountainside, and its unique lunar-like landscapes.

DAY 10: Sept 29 - Lamayuru to Leh

Ride from Lamayuru to Leh, the capital of Ladakh. En route, you can stop at the Magnetic Hill and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Leh is a vibrant town with many monasteries, markets, and cultural sites.

DAY 11: Sept 30 - Leh to Khardung La & back

A day trip to Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world at 5,359 meters. The journey offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Return to Leh for the night.

DAY 12: Oct 1 - Depart from Leh

Depart from Leh, concluding your incredible expedition through some of the most remote and beautiful regions of the Himalayas.
